When I get a new gadget I always have to kit it out. Not sure why, but it’s always a nice way to celebrate the fact you have a new thing in your life. My Windows Phone 7 deserves something extra special as it has made a big difference to my life; I never have a Really moment anymore That deserves a nice treat, so how about an accessory or two?

Here are some of my favourites, in no particular order..

1. Parrot Minikit Slim Bluetooth hands-free kit

This is an awesome hands free kit for the car. We don’t want you using your phone while driving, so just speak commands and this little smarty-pants will know exactly what you want to do.

2. Headset

Want to look as cool as your dad? Don’t use a speakerphone Bluetooth device, go the whole hog and wear a headset! But wait a second, the Jawbone range of headsets are so Vogue that you are guaranteed to avoid the dad look. So get the memo – Bluetooth is cool!

3. Phone sock

Phone socks are great, they aren’t bulky, keep your phone scratch free and look pretty awesome. However, using a dirty sock from your bedroom floor isn’t advisable. We personally like this Bench one – looks cosy!

4. Windows Phone Skullcandy headphones

Treating your ears to some Zune? You need these beauties. Not available in the stores, these special edition headphones can only be won through competitions run by us and the Windows Phone UK team. Keep an eye out for future comps to get a pair!

5. Give it a skin

The ultimate designer gear for any phone has to be the Gelaskin range. Currently available for the LG Optimus 7, Samsung Omnia 7 and HTC 7 Trophy, skins are available in a number or pre-set designs, or even your own custom image! (Whilst you are at it, you can get your Xbox 360 and laptop done too!)
