It is now officially summer and we are stoked! Although the sun has been hiding behind rainclouds recently, we’re still getting ready for the season by dusting down the BBQ and perfecting our summer cocktail recipes. Summer is the time for fun, holidays, great times with friends and among all of that – capturing the moment with awesome photos. Love using the camera on your Windows Phone? Then read on to learn more about our awesome photo competition which we’re running in July.

We want to record the summer of 2011 in style, so we’ve decided to use the great Liveshare app from Cooliris to show off all of your great summer photos. So this summer be sure to make good use of the camera on your Windows Phone and upload your shots to the gallery on our Facebook Page using the Windows Phone Liveshare app.

We want to see some great shots brightening up our Facebook page, so as an incentive we are going to give away a Windows Phone to the people behind the three most popular snaps. That’s three Windows Phones to three different winners!*

The best three images will be chosen by you, our fans. Every image uploaded to the gallery can be ‘liked’, so get liking! Vote on the pictures you think should win and get your friends and family involved by showing off your own shots as they hit our stunning summer gallery.

So whether your passion is photography – or you just like capturing summer fun with your phone – it’s time to get snap happy. Upload your shots to the gallery on our Facebook Page via the Liveshare app and you could win one of the three Windows Phones!

We’re sure this goes without saying, but entries must be your own original work, must not violate the rights of any other person or company (and should not feature names or logos belonging to brands) and must not contain any content that is illegal or may be deemed offensive in any way. Please don’t submit such photos – they won’t be accepted.

The final date to enter a photo is 31 July 2011, which is also when we’ll total up the votes to determine the winners.
